FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions about getting started?

  • We offer five core supports, Daily Assistance and Core Support, Social and Community Access, Life Skill Development, Fitness and Health Assisted Support, and Youth and Young Adult Tailored Mentoring. If you’re not sure what category your needs fit into, we’ll help you map it out.

  • Most people don’t fit neatly into one box, and that’s normal. We’ll start with a chat about what life looks like right now, what you want to work towards, and what kind of support feels helpful. From there, we’ll recommend a starting point and adjust as we go.

  • Yes. The goal is a good match, not just filling a shift. We’ll learn your preferences, then pair you with someone who suits your personality, your goals, and the way you like to be supported.

  • Our focus is young people and young adults, but we also support participants and families more broadly depending on the situation. If you’re unsure, reach out and we’ll tell you honestly if we’re the right fit.

  • Support can happen at home, out in the community, or a mix of both. We’ll plan it around your routine and what you’re working on, whether that’s day to day help, getting out more, or building skills.

  • Definitely. Some people start with core support, then move toward skills, confidence, and community access, others need something different week to week. We keep things flexible and check in with you so support stays useful, not just scheduled.
